Apple TV+ is renewing the limited series 'Imperfect Women' for a second season, but only one of its three original leading women will return. Deadline echoes that the new season will focus on Washington’s role, and Yahoo adds she will also serve as executive producer.
The show debuted earlier this year, and its mix of drama and social commentary earned it a solid viewer base. Variety also notes Apple’s confidence in extending the story despite the reduced cast, while Deadline highlights the strategic move to anchor the sequel around Washington’s established fan appeal.
The status of the other two protagonists remains undefined; coverage does not yet specify whether they will be recast, written out, or replaced. No production schedule, episode count, or storyline details have been released, leaving the series’ direction open.
