Jana decides to face Leocadia and Cruz, unaware of the consequences. Samuel realizes that he cannot contain his feelings for María Fernández and makes a drastic decision. Ángela and Curro meet after the young man’s declaration of love and his abandonment.
Manuel asks for help to rescue Jana unconscious and in a pool of blood, Curro arrives and, distraught, runs to find a doctor. Talking about what happened, Leocadia asks Alonso to call the Civil Guard, but Cruz and Lorenz are against it.
Jana still pours in serious conditions, but the doctor, after examining her a couple of times, is confident that she will recover and that the baby waiting survive. This good news is almost overshadowed by a newspaper article that reveals Curro’s origins, stirring up the whole of La Promessa.
Il button found by Manuel in Jana’s hand, appears to belong to a dressing gown of the Marquise and this brings i suspicious by Burdina on Cruz. The family is astonished at the news and the marquise is locked up at the sergeant’s behest in a guest room while the civil guard looks for the murder weapon and searches her room.
Jana wakes up for a few moments and Curro tries to talk to us. Doctor Gamarra tells Manuel and Curro that Jana is a little better, but that she is very tired and that we will have to wait. Cruz tells Petra that he hopes Jana recovers and that she wasn’t the shooter.
