The artist Sumaya Al-Alfy recently appeared in the filming location of the movie The Butcher of the Gathering, starring her son, the artist Ahmed Al-Fishawy.
Sumaya Al-Alfi began her artistic career in the 1980s, and presented many cinematic and television works that received a public presence. She was distinguished by her calm and romantic roles. Her name was associated with the big stars of that period, and she participated in works that varied between drama and cinema.
Sumaya Al-Alfy married the late artist Farouk Al-Fishawy, and gave birth to the artist Ahmed Al-Fishawy and Omar Al-Fishawy, before moving away from the artistic scene, where, over the course of 6 years, she entered into a struggle with cancer, which was one of the most important reasons for her absence from the artistic scene.
