After an incredibly impressive performance, Sinner gave world number three Alexander Zverev no chance in the semifinals.

In the first set, the Italian quickly dominated his opponent 6-3. The second set became a bit more difficult as Zverev showed his fighting spirit and used his serve advantage to the fullest to force the match into a tiebreak. In the end, Sinner won 7-4 and secured a spot in the finals.

According to statistics, Sinner recorded 15 aces in this match, achieving his 8th consecutive win over Zverev.

With this win, Sinner set a record of 32 consecutive wins in ATP Masters 1000 tournaments. If he wins the final, the 24-year-old will become the first player to win two tournaments in one year in Miami since the legendary Roger Federer in 2017.

In the post-match press conference, Sinner said: “It was a really tough match. My opponent played fantastic tennis and I had to serve really well in the last moments, especially at key points. I’m really happy to win, it means a lot to me.”

Sinner is a strong favorite and will face 21st seed Irzy Lehechka in the final tomorrow (March 29).

Reheka advanced to the biggest ATP final of his career after beating 28th seed Arthur Phils 2-0 (6-2, 6-2) in the other semifinal. It was also Reheka’s first ATP Masters 1000 final appearance.
