Fallout: London delayed due to (very late) next-gen update of Fallout 4

While the launch date of Fallout: London had finally been set for April 23 (because Saint George’s Day and 1st day in the “game”), the decision by Bethesda to publish – after 2 years of delay – the update “next-gen” day for Fallout4 forces Team FOLON to postpone the deadline at the last minute. For what ? Quite simply, because like every Fallout update, the version number of the game changes and therefore, an update of the Fallout 4 Script Extender (F4SE) is required. However, F4SE is an essential component for many mods, especially those modifying the game in depth, like this one.

In other words, publish Fallout: London two days before the Fallout 4 “next-gen” update (which in reality has nothing next-gen, since it is above all a slight adaptation of Fallout 4 to existing hardware and again, without the shadow of DLSS or FSR or raytracing) would make no sense, because the mod would be unusable 48 hours later. A potential frustration for players that the independent developers of Fallout: London obviously want to spare them and that is to their credit. And like F4SE is maintained by a third party, well, they have no choice but to wait until the necessary thing is done.

AUSTIN, Texas, April 18-19, 2024, The Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute (TCAI) hosted its seventh international symposium on complex cardiac arrhythmias, EPLive 2024, at St. David’s Medical Center on April 18 and 19, 2024. This year’s event had 1,000 registered participants from around the world, including Argentina, Italy and Japan, and more than 250 people attended in person.

Participants included practicing clinical cardiac electrophysiologists, electrophysiologists in training, and general cardiologists interested in treating complex cardiac arrhythmias – conditions in which the heart beats at an irregular or abnormal rhythm. The primary teaching tool was live cases with expert commentary broadcast from the Electrophysiology Center at St. David’s Medical Center, the leading center for robotic electrophysiology in North America.

Live cases using commercially approved pulsed field ablation (PFA) systems were presented at EPLive 2024 – the largest advance in the field of electrophysiology (EP) in decades. The first commercially approved PFA case in the United States was performed by physicians at TCAI earlier this year. PFA produces high-frequency electrical pulses to destroy muscle cells that cause cardiac arrhythmias without using excessive heat or cold.

NASA Simulation Reveals Unthinkable Journey into the Embrace of a Black Hole

Unveiling the Mysteries of Black Holes

Have you ever wondered what lies within the depths of a black hole? NASA’s latest simulation takes us on an extraordinary journey into the mesmerizing realm of these enigmatic cosmic entities.

In a groundbreaking visualization presented as a 360-degree video on YouTube, NASA astrophysicist Jeremy Schnittman provides an unparalleled glimpse into the vicinity of a supermassive black hole. As we approach its event horizon, the boundary where nothing can escape its gravitational pull, we witness mind-bending distortions in space and time.

The Unfathomable Core

Black holes have captivated our imagination for decades, leaving us pondering over their remarkable attributes. At their heart lies a singularity—an infinitely dense point from which their immense power emanates.

“If you have the choice, you want to fall into a supermassive black hole,” suggests Schnittman when considering different types of black holes. He explains that since stellar-mass black holes possess smaller event horizons and stronger tidal forces, approaching objects can be torn apart before reaching this crucial threshold.

The simulated black hole depicted in this visualizer aims to replicate the characteristics of our galaxy’s supermassive counterpart. To put things into perspective,

The ambitious race to establish a human presence on the Moon has gained new momentum with Russia’s revelation that it has begun construction of a nuclear power plant. This development is part of an unprecedented collaboration between Russia and China, two regimes that join forces to create the International Lunar Research Station, a scientific complex scheduled to begin construction in 2026. According to Yuri Borisov, director of Roscosmos, the Russian space agency, the installation of this critical nuclear infrastructure is expected to take place between 2033 and 2035.

The joint project symbolizes a clear competition of these authoritarian regimes in their space race against the West and particularly against NASA’s projects to develop the path to lunar exploration and beyond. China and Russia have assured that their cooperation covers several domains, including “outer space security” and the development of “artificial intelligence weapons,” pointing out the importance of this alliance in the field of defense and scientific research.

The scenario for this deployment is not without ambitious vision, as the planned base will cover an area of almost four miles,
