Pink Turtle to Open San javier International Jazz Festival with Free Concert

The French band Pink turtle will kick off the San Javier International Jazz Festival with a free concert on June 27 at the Plaza de España, San Javier. The festival is scheduled to run until july 22, featuring a total of 22 concerts over 15 nights.


Pink Turtle’s performance is one of three free concerts during the festival. Mar vilaseca will perform on July 13 at the port TomĂĄs Maestre, and Zo Suiters will play on July 20 on the Barnuevo esplanade of Santiago de la Ribera.

Last year, Pink Turtle released the album “best of,” showcasing their unique musical project of translating pop and rock themes into danceable jazz. Their repertoire includes well-known songs from the sixties, seventies, and eighties, such as “Imagine,” “Walk on The Wild Side,” “Can’t Take My eyes Off You,” and “We are the champions,” all reimagined with original arrangements.
