Saint-Brieuc: Long Covid, Athlete & a New Start

by Archynetys Health Desk

Weather: a wet Wednesday…

Today, the atmosphere will be decidedly “Scottish shower” in Saint-Brieuc. Light rain is expected throughout the day and night. In terms of temperatures, expect a low of 11°C at the best of the day and 8°C at the coolest. A wind from the south will blow at 42 km/h. Ideal for natural blow-drying, a little less for elegance…

This Wednesday, January 21, 2026, the sun does us the honor of rising at 8:29 a.m. and will set at 5:39 p.m. At Legué, the sea will be full at 8:32 a.m. this morning and 8:52 p.m. this evening; it will be low this afternoon at 3:12 p.m. We wish the Agnès a happy birthday!

A young long jump champion on his way to the capital of American athletics

Born in Planguenoual and trained at the Saint-Brieuc athletics club, Titouan Bizet is preparing to take the plunge. Not the one at 7.72 m, which constitutes his personal best in long jump, and makes him the champion of Brittany. It’s a jump over the Atlantic, heading to Oregon and the city of Eugene, birthplace of Nike and American athletic capital, where he will join the University to continue his career as a champion. Ploufragan’s special unit for “long Covid” questions its future

At first, in 2020, they knew almost nothing about the disease that was preparing to paralyze the entire world. Very quickly, the doctors and staff at the Châtelets healthcare establishment, in Ploufragan, were “burdened under the demands” of patients affected by Covid, mainly doing respiratory rehabilitation. Then the symptoms of “long Covid”, numerous and sometimes very different depending on the patients, appeared, and they dedicated their activity to this pernicious form. But where are we today?
