Rudolf Sandalo, born on August 15, 1898, in Bielitz, and deceased on December 30, 1980, in Frankfurt am Main, was a prominent German-Czechoslovak architectural photographer. His work captured the essence of modern architecture in the early to mid-20th century.

Born in Bielitz, Austrian Silesia, to parents from Prague or Wiener Neustadt, Sandalo attended the KK second German State Secondary School in Brno.
