Sony has announced an update and files are already going to the first players. PS5 owners can check a completely new mode this time.
Sony yesterday announced sharing the PS5 update and from the very morning files go to the next players. Firmware is available wave, but the first players can already check the news.
The update introduces several interesting functions, the most important of which is Possibility of pairing Dualsense and Dualsense Edge controllers with many devices at the same time. Until now, each switching between the console, PC or smartphone was necessary to evaporate again – now players can register up to four devices and switch smoothly between them.
The second big novelty is the Power Saver mode for games, which is to help in reducing energy consumption by PS5. After activating it, the supported titles automatically reduce performance, which will reduce the console power consumption and reduce its environmental impact.
Sony announced that the first games supporting this function are Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Demon’s Souls and Ghost of Yōtei, and in the future further productions will join them.
The update is made available in wave and in the coming days will go to all PS5 users around the world.
