Chair announced for Dover’s Pride in Place Programme
Dover District Council (DDC) welcomes the appointment of Nick Holbrook-Sutcliffe as Chair of the Pride in Place Board for Buckland and St Radigunds in Dover.
Nick brings extensive senior leadership experience across education, community development and place‑based investment. He will lead the programme in partnership with a newly formed Board, with recruitment taking place later this month.
The Pride in Place Programme is the Government’s flagship communities’ initiative, designed to empower local people to shape the future of their neighbourhoods. Backed by up to £5 billion over 10 years, it represents a long‑term commitment to strengthening the foundations of communities across the country.
Buckland and St Radigunds have been selected to receive up to £20 million over the next decade.
The programme places residents at the heart of decision‑making, ensuring investment is directed towards the projects and priorities that matter most locally.
