Peña Highlights Concerns Over Iranian and Chinese Influence

President Peña voiced concerns about the growing influence of Iran and China in the Western Hemisphere, particularly in vulnerable nations. He suggested that these countries exploit weaknesses to expand their presence, citing Venezuela as a prime example. this echoes broader concerns about geopolitical competition in Latin America, where both Iran and China have been increasing their economic and political engagement.

The influence of Iran and many of his proxis is to benefit from weak and vulnerable countries where they can have a greater presence. Iran as China,somehow,try to influence the western hemisphere.

According to the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC),trade between China and Latin America has increased exponentially in the last two decades,making China a major trading partner for many countries in the region.
