The State Coordination of Civil Protection and Risk Management (CEPCyGR) reports that a stable environment is expected in much of the territory; However, light precipitation and isolated drizzle accompanied by fog are not ruled out in the Sierra de Flores Magón and Sierra de Juárez.
These conditions are caused by the presence of a high pressure system and cold air, in combination with a low pressure trough over southeastern Mexico.
According to the weather forecast issued by the National Water Commission (Conagua), temperatures will remain low at dawn in high areas of the Mixteca, Sierra de Juárez and Sierra Sur. In contrast, a hot environment will prevail along the coastal strip and the Isthmus of Tehuantepec.
In addition, north and northwest winds of moderate intensity are expected in the eastern portion of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, with some slightly elevated gusts.
On the other hand, cold front number 16 remains under surveillance, which could arrive in the middle of next week, favoring winter conditions in Oaxaca, such as a drop in temperature, possible mixes of rain and a cold environment.
The temperatures for this day are the following:
* Central Valleys, minimum of 13 and maximum of 29 degrees.
* Isthmus of Tehuantepec, minimum of 22 and maximum of 33 degrees.
* Papaloapan Basin, minimum of 16 and maximum of 31 degrees.
* Coast, minimum of 22 and maximum of 32 degrees.
* Mixteca, minimum of 12 and maximum of 29 degrees.
* Sierra de Flores Magón, minimum of 9 and maximum of 24 degrees.
