(Seoul) North Korea has conducted a test of its “state-of-the-art” 600mm multiple rocket launcher system, the North’s official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) announced on Sunday.

This exercise comes as Pyongyang fired around ten ballistic missiles on Saturday towards the Sea of Japan, according to Seoul which is conducting annual military exercises this week with Washington that Pyongyang had criticized.
Kim Jong-un supervised this test on Saturday, which “mobilized twelve high-precision 600 mm caliber multiple rocket launchers and two artillery companies,” KCNA said.
