During a phone call today with His Excellency Mark Rutte, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, discussed the latest developments in the regional situation in light of the escalating military actions and their dangerous repercussions on regional and international security and stability, in addition to their effects on international shipping traffic and the global economy, and they exchanged views on them.
The call also touched on the ongoing Iranian terrorist attacks on the UAE and countries in the region, which target civilians, civilian facilities, and infrastructure. His Excellency condemned the attacks as they represent a violation of the sovereignty of states and international laws and norms, as well as the Charter of the United Nations.
His Excellency praised the UAE’s management of the crisis and the measures it is taking to preserve the safety of its lands, citizens, and residents.
