Microsoft AI: New Suite Costs $99/Month

PANews reported on March 9 that Microsoft (MSFT.O) is launching a new office software bundle, E7, to encourage more users to utilize its AI tools in the workplace. The E7 bundle costs $99 per user per month, a 65% increase over Microsoft’s existing flagship bundle. This bundle includes frequently used tools like Word and Excel, as well as Microsoft’s AI assistant, Copilot, and features that allow managers to assess the use of AI within their organizations. Microsoft announced last January that more than 450 million corporate users are paying for its office software, but only about 3% of those users are paying for Co-Pilot.
