Lebanese representative michel Moawad Denounces Attack on Qatar, Calls for Regional Stability

In a statement released on platform “x”, Representative Michel Moawad expressed strong condemnation of the recent attack on Qatar. He also contacted the Qatari ambassador to Lebanon, Sheikh Saud bin Abdul rahman Al Thani, to voice his concerns.

Representative Moawad stated, “I contacted the Qatari ambassador to Lebanon, Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, denouncing the Iranian attack on the sisterly state of Qatar, and asserting our categorical rejection of any prejudice to its security and stability.”

Moawad further emphasized the need for a lasting resolution to regional conflicts, adding, “Hoping that the ceasefire agreement will be respected, and that it will be an entrance to end the war, and a new starting point for a lasting path of peace, stability and prosperity in the region, away from interference in state affairs and the harm of their sovereignty, and from the cycle of blood, destruction, extremism and hatred.”
