The local theater sample 2025 will reach its end with an explosion of laughs and emotions. This Monday, May 19 at 7:00 p.m., Casa Haas will become the stage of “Marino”, a comedy taken to the scene by the company without labels, directed by Christian Rodríguez, who promises to close the festival with a gold brooch.
Christian Rodríguez, a multifaceted creator, presents us with one of his most beloved works, with more than 200 presentations and praise of national criticism. “Marinos” has been recognized as the best gay work of the year by the circuit of Sexisex Sexisex diversity in Mexico, thanks to its intelligent humor and its inclusion message.
The work transports us to a marine barracks, where six men deal with the macho and homophobic regime of Captain Torrijas. The arrival of the International Carnival of Mazatlan unleashes a series of tangles, lies and secrets that will change their lives forever.
“Marine” is much more than a comedy. It is an invitation to leave the closet, to be oneself and to love without conditions. Through the laughter, the work guides us towards a powerful message of freedom and authenticity, resonating especially in the LGBTIQA+ community and in anyone who seeks to live fully.
“Marinos” is the perfect closure for the local theater sample, because it is a comedy that will make you laugh out loud while inviting you to reflect.
The work celebrates diversity and freedom to be oneself.
