Speed checks were carried out during the day of Friday November 28 along the RD 498 in the town of Andrézieux-Bouthéon.
The EDCF gendarmes (Departmental Flow Control Squadron) issued several fines.
Eight speeding incidents of between 20 and 40 km/h and two of more than 40 km/h above the authorized speed were recorded.
The sad “record” of the day goes to two motorists, respectively pinned at 140 and 143 km/h on a portion limited to 90. For these very excessive speeds, driving licenses and vehicles were confiscated.
