The Spanish club Athletic Bilbao decided to go to the International Sports Court of Appeal “Cass” after the FIFA rejected the Spanish Emerek Laporte, the first victory of the Football Team, according to the Spanish newspaper “El Correo“, on Thursday.
The management of Al -Nasr Club Company agreed with its counterpart in Athletic Bilbao to sell the remaining contract of Laport, for 10 million euros, provided that all contractual procedures are completed before the transfer market was closed, Monday, but the deal stumbled in the last moments, which prompted the Spanish club to submit an application to “FIFA”, in order to allow the player to be recorded in his ranks.
For its part, the Spanish radio “Cope” confirmed that Bilbao is studying all possible legal means to submit an appeal on the decision of the International Federation, based on this on the agreement concluded between the three parties “the player, victory, and Athletic Bilbao.”
According to the same newspaper, the management of the Basque club seems confident that Laporte becomes a team player within 15 days.
In a related context, the Spanish newspaper “AS” revealed, on Thursday, that there is an interest from the Turkish Besiktas Club to obtain services to Laport, during the remainder of the current summer transfer period.
The entry of the Turkish club on the negotiation line with the player comes after Athletic Bilbao announced, through an official statement, the International Federation, his request to obtain the international player card from the Saudi Federation.
Laport, 31, and the European Cup winner with the Spanish national team in 2024, is associated with a contract with victory until the summer of 2026.
