JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The police confirmed that Motivator Dwi Hartono became one of the brains behind the alleged kidnapping and murder of a BUMN Branch Head of Branch (KCP), Mohamad Ilham Pradipta (37).
“True (@klanhartono) Instagram DH,” said Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Commissioner Ade Ary Syam Indradi when contacted on Tuesday (8/26/2025).
Dwi Hartono is also known to have a YouTube account called Klan Hartono and has a total of 169,000 followers.

On the YouTube account, Dwi is known to often share videos about business motivation at a young age.
Besides being known as a motivator, Dwi Hartono is also known to be the owner of one of the tutoring institutions.
Dwi Hartono was arrested by the Metro Jaya Police joint team along with two other suspects, YJ and AA, in Solo, Central Java, on Saturday (8/23/2025) around 20.15 WIB. The arrest took place without resistance.
The day after, the police also arrested another perpetrator with the initial C in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area, North Jakarta.
Previously, four people with the initials AT, RS, RAH, and RW were first arrested in Jakarta and Labuan Bajo. With this latest arrest, there were already 15 people who were secured related to the abduction and murder case.

The victim, Mohamad Ilham Pradipta (37), was found dead in the rice fields of Karangsambung Village, Nagasari Village, Serang Baru District, Bekasi Regency, on Thursday (8/21/2025) around 05.30 WIB.
The body of the victim was first discovered by a resident who was herding cows. At that time, the victim was seen in the condition of the hands and feet bound and eyes were covered in duct tape. The victim’s body is also full of bruises.
After the discovery, residents immediately reported to village officials and police officers. The police then went to the crime scene (TKP) to conduct an examination.
The results of the investigation revealed that before he was found dead, the victim was kidnapped from a supermarket in Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta.
Based on CCTV footage received Kompas.com, The victim was seen wearing a short -sleeved brown batik shirt and beige trousers. He had walked in the parking area while covering his head with his left hand because of the rain.

When he was about to open his black car door, suddenly several people came out of a white car parked next to him. The victim had resisted, but his efforts were unsuccessful.
The perpetrators then forced the victim to get into the white car and immediately ran away.
An eyewitness had aware of the abduction, but the perpetrator’s car had already step on the gas to leave the location.
