“I haven’t eaten anything for 48 hours,” says Williams when she addressed her community with a video clip on Friday afternoon (January 9th). The 54-year-old reports from a hospital in Thailand. The mother of the daughters Sophia (19) and Angelina from her relationship with husband Alexander-Klaus Stecher (57) can still see the shock. A Thai nurse and her husband drove their child and a friend, who “could hardly breathe” from excitement, across the country to a hospital. Why the complicated route? “Because the bureaucracy for my health insurance company would have taken so long,” reveals Williams.

When she got to the hospital, the unknown woman continued to help the Williams. For example, when she described the emergency situation to the hospital staff. Judith wanted to give her rescuer a tip for her heartwarming effort – but she refused. The “Lion’s Den” investor is visibly moved by so much selflessness: “I bow to Thailand, to all the people who have helped my family so much.” Williams leaves it open what exactly happened to her daughter.

“Lion’s Den” investor is annoyed about private insurance

However, the entrepreneur becomes all the more clear when she is annoyed about her health insurance. “When I called in Germany, all the emergency numbers didn’t work,” she says. When a line was free, it ended up “in the queue” and a bureaucratic loop for the private insurance company began. What also irritates Williams: “At that price, [den] You pay, I wonder what that’s about.” She had been with the same insurance company for more than 20 years, but had to first discuss her insurance relationship with an employee on the phone – while her daughter had to go to a hospital. In order to help her child, Williams ended the phone call and quickly grabbed the credit card herself. The entrepreneur emphasizes that she is aware of her privileged status.
