This Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Jean-Baptiste Boursier celebrates his 43rd birthday. A familiar figure to French viewers, the journalist has established himself in around ten years as one of the faces of information in the PAF.
After his debut on I-Télé then a notable rise on BFMTV, he joined the TF1 group in 2023 to take charge of the LCI morning show. Since October 21, 2024, it is also Gilles Bouleau’s joker at 8 p.m. on TF1a role that he approaches with emotion and humility.
“When I heard Évelyne Dhéliat pronounce my name while announcing the newspaper, my heart rate accelerated. During the credits, I was like, ‘This is for real!'”he confided to Tele-Leisure. At 43the journalist lives “a waking dream“shared between the sets and a family life that he preciously preserves.

Behind the professional rigor, Jean-Baptiste Boursier hides a man with a heart. Very discreet about his private life, he shares his daily life with Alexandraan entrepreneur who passed through the world of media before founding in 2021 Pop Doga brand of accessories for dogs. On her company’s Instagram account, the young woman provides advice. Always in a good mood, she is accompanied in her posts by her faithful four-legged companion.
The couple, united for several years, welcomed a little girl in 2024. Jean-Baptiste Boursier spoke about it for the first time in 7 Days TV : “I am the happy father of a little girland, as for most parents, his birth is, in my eyes, the most beautiful thing in the world that has happened to me.”
A sugar daddy
A simple happiness, which he savors every day. Despite a schedule punctuated by the LCI morning show, he makes sure to keep special moments with his daughter. “It’s great! I pick her up from daycare every evening. I can be with her until she goes to bed, and that’s lucky“, he explained on RTL. A balance made possible, he said, “thanks to an extraordinary woman”.
But before experiencing the joys of journalism and fatherhood, Jean-Baptiste Boursier experienced grief of a completely different kind. A childhood sorrow, caused by his idol, Chantal Goya. Guest of the show We’re doing TV again on RTL, on June 14, the journalist recounted this memory that remained engraved in his memory.
He explained: “I was thereFrance’s biggest fan of Chantal Goya ! My mother recorded all her shows for me on a cassette, which I watched and re-watched. I even went to see her perform.”
That day, her parents bought her a small rose to give to the singer at the end of the concert. Young Jean-Baptiste, excited, is about to offer his present… but the crowd decides otherwise. “At the end of the show, we get off my seat, and there are so many people, so many people, that I left with my rose”he remembers, still amused – and a little melancholic. The dreamed gesture will not take place and the child leaves disappointed.
Chantal Goya, her big injury!
But the story doesn’t end there. And, six years later, his little brother, aged three, in turn attended a Chantal Goya concert, this time in the Bordeaux region. That’s when a real tragedy occurs! Jean-Baptiste Boursier remembers: “In the middle of the show, my brother gets up. He’s on the central aisle, he’s going down… I hate him! He went to the foot of the stage, and Chantal Goya hugged him in the middle of the show, and she sang with him!” Nostalgic, with sincerity tinged with humor, he said: “It broke my heart.”
And if this childhood betrayal haunted Jean-Baptiste Boursier for a long time, destiny finally decided to offer him consolation. Indeed, many years later, the journalist had the opportunity to come full circle in this affair. And he had the chance to interview the woman who was his first idol. We don’t know if he brought her a rose…
