ROMA – In relation to the recent publication of “Practical guide to INPS services for the Carabiniere” (DC_INPS Practical Guide for the Carabiniere.pdf) on the institutional portal disseminated on our social channels and following numerous requests for clarification received from members of the Carabinieri SIM, the Pension and Salary Treatment Department of the Carabinieri SIM considers it appropriate to provide some important clarifications to protect its members. The objective is to reassure staff about the management of any inaccuracies, omissions or errors that may be found in their contribution statement. Although each soldier has the right to independently present a Request for Change of Insurance Position (RVPA) in case of anomalies, we would like to underline that the system provides extremely punctual automatic verification mechanisms. In fact, the National Administrative Center (CNA) systematically ensures the verification and regularization of the insurance position whenever the interested party presents a request for reunification or redemption for pension purposes and furthermore the same CNA proceeds in any case ex officio to fully update the employee’s insurance position before leaving service. This procedure guarantees that the data useful for defining the pension treatment are correct and complete at the time of retirement. The SIM Carabinieri will continue to monitor administrative procedures to ensure that the right to social security of colleagues is always fully respected and protected.
