In a move to bolster Morocco’s digital capabilities and prepare its youth for the future, the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and innovation has forged a important partnership with Huawei Maroc. The agreement, formalized by Azzedine El midaoui, the Minister, and David Li, Director General of Huawei Maroc, signifies a collaborative effort to modernize higher education, enhance digital skills, and strengthen the nation’s technological infrastructure.
A Model of Public-Private Collaboration
This partnership is designed as a model of collaboration between the public and private sectors, focusing on development and innovation. Aligned with national strategic objectives, the memorandum of understanding seeks to leverage the digital sector as a catalyst for inclusion, competitiveness, and international cooperation. the first pillar focuses on expanding training programs for university educators and regularly updating educational content to reflect the latest technological advancements.This ensures that faculty members are equipped with the knowlege and skills to effectively prepare students for the demands of the digital age.
Scientific Research
The second pillar aims to foster scientific research by creating opportunities for Moroccan doctoral students to engage with huawei’s global R&D centers. This international exposure will provide invaluable experience and contribute to the advancement of research capabilities within Morocco.
Innovation and Entrepreneurship
