by drbyos

A majority of people want to take part in the contribution-free co-insurance of spouses in statutory health insurance Deutschland don’t shake after a survey. 57 percent spoke out against the proposal to abolish the regulation, as “Bild am Sonntag” announced, citing a representative Insa survey. However, 28 percent were in favor of abolition. 10 percent were indifferent, 5 percent did not provide any information.

Spouses with no or low income can currently be insured in the family insurance without paying any contributions. SPD co-leader Lars Klingbeil, among others, had spoken out in favor of abolishing this regulation. Instead, a minimum contribution of 200 euros plus 25 euros for nursing care insurance is being discussed.
