He became the third Latvian hockey player in the history of the NHL who reached the 200-point mark. Sergejs Zholtoks collected 258 points (111+147) in his career, while Sandis Ozoliņš scored 564 (167+397).

Ozoliņš played 875 games in the regular championship, Žoltoks participated in 588 matches, and Girgensons played in 786 games.

Brandon Hagel and Nikita Kucherov stood out in the Lightning team with a goal and an assist (1+1), while goalkeeper Andrejs Vasilevskis saved 32 of 33 shots (97%).

The 31-year-old Girgenson has five goals, one assist and a negative -2 efficiency rating in 16 games this season.

This season, Girgensons has already accumulated six performance points (5+1) – the same as last season in a total of 82 games (2+4).

“Lightning” with 30 points in 23 games takes second place in the Eastern Conference, while “Flames” with 19 points in 25 matches is in 15th position in the West.
