This Wednesday 25 mars 2026the Polygone Montpellier shopping center welcomes the Colon Touran operation of educational prevention, which will take place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Objective : inform, reassure and encourage to the screening of cancer colorectalstill too little achieved despite its effectiveness.

Colorectal cancer screening concerns women and men aged 50 to 74. Simple, free and can be carried out at home thanks to an immunological test, it makes it possible to detectpossible anomalies even before symptoms appear.

Carried by The League Against Cancerthe Côlon Tour focuses on a fun and immersive approach to remove barriers to screening. At the heart of the system: a giant inflatable structuree reproducing the interior of a colon. Visitors can move around and discover the different lesions that may exist (diverticula, polyps or tumors), as well as their evolution.
A concrete tool for better understand the benefit of the immunological testwhich sometimes allows early lesions to be treated without surgery.

Throughout the day, healthcare professionals will be present for answer questionsexplain the procedures and accompany visitors in all confidentiality. Of the screening kits will also be distributed on site to facilitate the move to action.
