Good news for Samsung users! the One UI 8 (android 16) update may arrive on mid-range phones faster than its predecessor. An early One UI 8 firmware has been spotted for the Galaxy A56 on samsung’s servers, suggesting a quicker rollout.

The Galaxy A56 is slated to receive six major OS upgrades, with one UI 8 being the frist.According to Google, the stable version of One UI is expected to launch during the US summer months (June-August). It remains to be seen if this timeline applies to both flagship and mid-range devices.

Regardless, most compatible devices are likely to have One UI 8 before the year concludes. This will be a welcome change for Samsung fans after the notable delays experienced with the One UI 7 release. Samsung is collaborating with Google to accelerate the adaptation of the One UI interface to Android,potentially leading to faster future updates.
