The platform shows selected opera and ballet productions in the live stream or as video-on-demand as well as a variety of historical records from the National Theater, which document important productions of the past decades. The mezzo -soprano Ksenia Dudnikova, born in Andijan (Uzbekistan), initially studied conducting at the State University in Krasnodar (Russia) and then singing at the state conservatory in Moscow. After an engagement at the Stanislawski and Nemirowitsch-Dantschenko-Musiktheater in Moscow, she moved to the ensemble of the Bolschoi Theater in 2021, where she had already debuted as a Maddalena (Rigoletto) in 2016. Her repertoire also includes games such as Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Princess of Boullion (Adriana Lecouvreur), Marguerite (La Damnation de Faust), Pauline (Pique Dame), Amneris (Aida), Olga (Eugen Onegin), Princess Eboli (Don Carlo) and the title parts in Carmen and the Jungfrau From Orléans. Baden: „One Night in Baden“

And what a night – because on July 12th the musical celebrates CHESS Premiere in the Baden City Theater in an absolute top line-up. The work of the ABBA composers Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus as well as Tim Rice scores with unforgettable hits such as “One Night in Bangkok” and “I Know Him So Well”, but also a breathtaking act of politics, conspiracy, love and jealousy against the background of a chess championship at the time of the Cold War
Andreas Gergenthe designated artistic director of the Baden stage, deliberately stages Chess as a timeless political thriller. The list of soloists reads like the WHO-IS-WHO of the musical scene: Drew Sarich and Mark Seibert as an American and Russian grand master of the chess compete against each other Femke Soetenga stands as a lover and assistant between the two. As the head of the American delegation Boris Pfeifer to see his Russian counterpart is from Georgij Makazaria embodied.
