The newly enacted legislation includes revisions to the law on the election of deputies in the National assembly and members of the popular councils,as well as amendments to eleven laws concerning military and defense. Changes have also been made to the law on companies, the Act on Auctions, the Public-Private Partnership Act, the Customs Act, laws regarding added value, export and import tax, investment, public investment, and the management and use of public goods.

Further modifications affect the law on the front of the fatherland of Vietnam, the law on unions, the law on youth, the law on democracy at the base, the law on executives and civil servants, the law on the treatment of administrative violations, the Act on the Promulgation of Normative and Legal Texts, and the Vietnamese nationality law.

amendments have also been made to the Criminal Code of Criminal procedure, the Criminal Code, the Organization of Popular Courts, the Code of Civil Procedure, the Act respecting Administrative Procedure, the law on justice for minors, the law on bankruptcy, the law on mediation and dialog in court, the law on the organization of popular prosecution and the law on inspection.

The order modifies texts related to conservatory and aircraft procedures, compulsory detoxification for drug addicts, sanctions for acts hampering legal proceedings, administrative treatment measures by popular courts, and legal costs.

“These laws and this order come into force on 1^is July 2025,” according to the announcement.
