Ex-US Navy officer raises alarm over underwater UFO

Oceanographer and former Navy Rear Admiral Timothy Gallaudet, who is reports published in March about the so-called “unidentified underwater objects” (eng. unidentified submerged objectUSO) author, last month Fox News statedthat, in his opinion, the study of these phenomena would be “scientifically sound” and of great importance to national security.

In a 29-page report it released newly established Sol Foundation – an analytical center dedicated to investigating what the military calls “unidentified anomalous phenomena” unidentified anomalous phenomenaUAP), focusing on 2019 for a video shot on board the Omaha off the coast of San Diego (USA).

The video that was leaked to director Jeremy Corbell and which one Confirmed by the Pentagon as real navy 2021 recorded case of UAP, raises more questions than answers – both in his interview and in the Sol Foundation report, Gallaudet suggests considering the strange craft as a threat.

“Pilots, credible witnesses and calibrated military instruments have recorded objects accelerating at speeds and crossing the air-sea boundary in ways impossible for any human-made object,” Gallaudet wrote in the think tank’s first report.

Fallout: London delayed due to (very late) next-gen update of Fallout 4

While the launch date of Fallout: London had finally been set for April 23 (because Saint George’s Day and 1st day in the “game”), the decision by Bethesda to publish – after 2 years of delay – the update “next-gen” day for Fallout4 forces Team FOLON to postpone the deadline at the last minute. For what ? Quite simply, because like every Fallout update, the version number of the game changes and therefore, an update of the Fallout 4 Script Extender (F4SE) is required. However, F4SE is an essential component for many mods, especially those modifying the game in depth, like this one.

In other words, publish Fallout: London two days before the Fallout 4 “next-gen” update (which in reality has nothing next-gen, since it is above all a slight adaptation of Fallout 4 to existing hardware and again, without the shadow of DLSS or FSR or raytracing) would make no sense, because the mod would be unusable 48 hours later. A potential frustration for players that the independent developers of Fallout: London obviously want to spare them and that is to their credit. And like F4SE is maintained by a third party, well, they have no choice but to wait until the necessary thing is done.

League of Legends (LoL) Now Requires TPM 2.0 on Windows 11: What You Need to Know

6 May 2024PC gaming in general

TPM 2.0 is now required to play League of Legends (LoL) on Windows 11.

LoL implemented Riot Vanguard (hereinafter referred to as Vanguard), a unique anti-cheat system, in Patch 14.9 in May 2024. Enabling TPM 2.0 is mandatory as a Vanguard system requirement in the Windows 11 environment. The game no longer works if TPM 2.0 is disabled.(There are no problems with Windows 10 even if TPM 2.0 is disabled)

When attempting to launch LoL in a Windows 11 environment with TPM 2.0 disabled, you will see a VAN9001 error.

VAN9001 error appears when TPM 2.0 is disabled

Regarding this topic, Riot Games has the following to say:

TPM 2.0

LoL x Vanguard requires TPM 2.0. Microsoft originally intended to require TPM 2.0 on all new installations of Windows 11, but underneath it all this application was relatively lenient and easy to ignore. So we decided to follow their original plan and instead force it ourselves. Playing LoL may be compromised for a limited number of Windows 11 users, especially if they circumvent this requirement by modifying registry keys.

TPM stands for “Trusted Platform Module” and we need it for two reasons.

Its crazy what this Apple cell phone had to do without

Over 17 years ago, Apple presented the very first iPhone. However, many features and functions that are taken for granted today were not even thought of back then. It’s pretty exciting what Apple’s first iPhone couldn’t do – but it was still a success.

If you want to understand the rapid development of the iPhone, just look at the first model from 2007. It laid the foundation for Apple’s current success, but still had to forego a large number of functionswhich we consider “normal” in today’s iPhones.

The first iPhone: 15 features that were still missing back then

The colleagues at MacRumors collected 15 of these features in a list to mark the anniversary (source: MacRumors). Let’s take a closer look:

App Store: An iPhone without an App Store? Unimaginable today, but it actually only existed in the summer of 2008, a year after the introduction of the first iPhone. In the meantime, developers and customers should be content with web apps, but the call for native apps was simply too loud, Apple heard it and responded.
Copy and paste: The iPhone had to do without “copy & paste” for a long time;

How to hack mobile camera? The experts said

Even in today’s modern era, many people do not know about mobile phone hacking, due to which all the photos and videos in the mobile phone are easily shared with others by hacking the camera of their mobile phone.

Experts say that it is very easy for a hacker to hack the camera of any mobile phone, the owner of the hacked phone does not even know that their mobile camera has been hacked.

Hackers have to use some specific codes to achieve this goal, due to which they can easily hack any mobile camera.

Experts say that the first sign of your phone being hacked is that the hacker will contact you to blackmail you and send you pictures, etc. to make any demands.

If the phone’s camera light is flashing, then it cannot be denied that your mobile camera has been hacked.

You have to keep a close eye on the timing of your phone’s battery, if you find that the battery is draining fast even when you are not using the phone, you should check the applications installed in the phone. Should do and see if there is any ‘malware’ installed in the phone which has turned on the camera.

Giant Jerusalem Flea. PHOTO/ IFL Science

JERUSALEM – Jerusalem fleas , an interesting name for this flightless insect, it is not actually a cricket, not an insect, and does not originate from Jerusalem.

These giant insects belong to two genera, and the nickname “potato bug” may refer to the Jerusalem cricket, woodlice, or Colorado potato beetle.

As reported by IFL Science, Sunday (5/5/2024), it is indeed confusing! Let’s explore it in more depth.

Although its name takes us into the world of chirping crickets, the Jerusalem Cricket is not actually a true cricket. They belong to the order Orthoptera, the same as grasshoppers and crickets, but they belong to different families.

Even more confusing, the Jerusalem Cicada is also not a true insect. True insects have wings divided into two pairs, while Jerusalem crickets only have small forewings hidden under their pronotum. Their hind wings have evolved into scale-like organs used for jumping.

The origin of the name “potato bug” is not entirely clear. One theory suggests that because they feed on potato plants and resemble the Colorado potato beetle,
