TANGER MED: More than 11 million containers in 2025
In the pearl of the Strait, Tanger Med has crossed the threshold of 11 million containers processed in 2025.
The four terminals of the port complex thus recorded activity up 8.4% compared to the previous year.
This progress is partly due to the entry into operation of the latest extension of Terminal TC4.
Concerning the traffic of TIR trucks, it stood at more than 535,200 units. This is 3.6% more compared to 2024
AIR: 10.2 million passengers in Marrakech-Menara
Marrakech-Menara international airport saw nearly 10.2 million passengers pass through in 2025.
Traffic increasing by more than 10% according to the National Airports Office.
A record for the runways of the ocher city which alone absorb 28% of national traffic, just behind the Mohammed V airport in Casablanca but well ahead of that of Agadir.
Last December alone, this international airport platform received nearly 900,000 passengers from all over the world.

AUSTRALIA: 415,000 Snapchat accounts blocked
Snapchat announces that it has blocked or deactivated 415,000 user accounts aged under 16 in Australia in two months.
The consequence of the entry into force of a law prohibiting these young people from accessing these applications.
The social network, however, suggests requiring app catalogs to verify the age of users themselves before apps are downloaded.
In addition to Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube and even Facebook and Instagram must apply this ban in Australia, otherwise they risk being exposed to heavy fines.
STOCK MARKET: IBEX 35 above 18,000 points
The flagship index of the Madrid Stock Exchange crossed the symbolic threshold of 18,000 points at the start of the week, for the first time in its history.
