“The current situation, when we got into a fight for survival, is behind me. That’s why I offered to resign myself to give the team an impetus,” said Pešout, the former coach of Karlovy Vary and Kometa Brno. Assistants Petr Martínek and Angelo Krstev, who will temporarily help Viktor Hübl, will also end up with the team.
“Before we announce the new head coach, Viktor Hübl is taking over the training process, who will be assisted by Angel Krstev,” said A-team manager Jiří Sochor. “I would like to thank Martin Pešout and his assistants for the work done, which was very successful for two seasons.”
In the very first season, Pešout led Chomutov to the first league and then advanced with the team to the quarterfinals.
