The last home game was won against seventh-placed Offenbach 7-1. At the beginning there was a defeat in the first doubles with 19:21 in the deciding set. The other two double games were 2-0 but a clear case for a double. Luca Neidhardt won the next point with 2-1 in the first singles before securing his eighth win of the season with three clear two-set wins.
Surprising draw
They had to accept a rather surprising 4-4 draw against ABC Frankfurt (8-0 home win in the preliminary round). As against Offenbach, they started with a 2-1 in the doubles, but the home team then turned the match around with victories in the first singles and mixed doubles, and Jacob Fuchs had to give up his game in the second singles due to an injury. Anna Spielmann and Felix Tomaschek ensured that the trip to Frankfurt wasn’t completely in vain.
