Allu Aravind Silent on Revanth Reddy’s Industry Standoff
Tensions are high in the Telugu film industry following Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s firm stance against ticket price hikes and benefit shows. This decision, which comes on the heels of industry figures voicing support for actor Allu Arjun amidst a controversy, has sparked anger and uncertainty within the film fraternity.
Revanth Reddy’s Strong Response
Revanth Reddy expressed displeasure over industry members’ support for Allu Arjun and has made it clear that he will not allow ticket price increases or benefit shows for the remainder of his tenure. This has caused a "rude shock" to the industry, with many feeling that Allu Arjun’s involvement inadvertently put everyone in a compromising position.
Interestingly, the first film to be affected by this decision is Ram Charan’s "Gamechanger," a movie interestingly produced by Dil Raju, a close confidante of the CM and recently appointed Film Development Corporation Chairman. Despite this, it appears unlikely that Raju will be able to sway the CM’s decision.
Allu Aravind’s Evasive Response
M9 News correspondent attempted to get Allu Aravind’s perspective on the situation by asking him directly about the CM’s apparent displeasure with industry support for Allu Arjun. Allu Aravind initially seemed poised to answer but ultimately chose to avoid the question, folding his hands and leaving the press conference. This evasive response only adds to the already growing sense of uncertainty within the industry.
