John Christian Elden and his wife love action
The star lawyer lives a turbocharging – and relaxes with action.

Tension and heartbreaking stunts have been his trademark for almost 30 years. In the eighth “Mission: Impossible” movie, Tom Cruise (62) – Alias Agent Ethan Hunt – is fighting the clock and the downfall of the world.
At the Norwegian premiere, the celebrities poured in to be entertained-among them was star lawyer John Christian Elden (57).
– Like Tom Cruise, we do “Mission Impossible” every day, says Elden with a twinkle in his eye.
The lawyer is challenged daily in the struggle for the rights of his clients, no matter how “impossible” the mission is. He came up with his wife Sol (50), who is also a lawyer. Both use tension as relaxation, they reveal.
– When we want to relax, there are often movies like this. Then we get the brain emptied! The couple smiles before taking the seats full of expectations and with popcorn in your lap.
Jubilee
“Sinnasnekker’n” Otto Robsahm (57) and his dear Marion (48) beamed perhaps most of all on the premiere. They celebrated 20 years of love – in the company of Tom Cruise.
-We were together on May 17, 2005, and it is probably nothing better than celebrating it with a real action movie. smiles the still in love.
Otto has seen all the films, and has good cinema memories from his time in Alaska, where he lived for many years.
-“Mission: Impossible” was a successful TV series when I was young-before Tom Cruise made her films. The first movie I watched in Alaska almost 30 years ago, and now I’m on a new premiere here, after all these years. It’s fun, says Otto – for the occasion completely without a nuisance!
Relax
Jon Niklas Rønning (45) came to the premiere with his son Gabriel (11). Both have a great sense of these films, which are partly recorded both in Norway, in Svalbard and in Budapest – where Jon Niklas has an apartment.
– We like good action, and to relax with it. It can’t just be humor all the time, says the comedian to See and Listen.
Gabriel has no doubt what he likes best with the movies:
– It’s the stunts – especially where Tom Cruise hangs after plane and stuff!
Ingeborg Myhre (50), known as Lotto hostess and from “Farmen celebrity”, beamed side by side with his selected Prince Brian Skotnes (52) at the premiere.
– I’m a blood fan of the movies and love Tom Cruise, says Ingeborg.
Cohabitant Brian is a policeman and can control his enthusiasm for action movies, even though he likes the Tom Cruise movies. Ingeborg explains:
– Brian thinks such movies can be a little boring, because he lives a life with action himself!
Star meeting
In 2021, Tom Cruise was in Norway to record several scenes for the previous movie in the series. Abid Raja (49) was Minister of Culture, and had a warm meeting with the action hero during the recording in Western Norway.
– I’m looking forward to seeing my good friend Tom on the canvas again! says Abid jokingly when we meet him on a red carpet.
Humble. He remembers a world star with solid ground contact, without starry.
– Makan to a humble guy! says Abid excitedly. – We were together for 20 minutes, and he almost just talked about how well he liked the country and the people – and how grateful he was for getting recordings here. Tom Cruise is a real Norwegian friend!
