The circumstances are being investigated by the police.
A tragic traffic accident happened on Sunday in the village of Geča.
The driver of the Škoda Octavia passenger car drove into the opposite direction, probably due to a sudden illness.
Subsequently, the front part crashed into the oncoming Octavia, which was driven by a female driver with two small children.
The Košice Regional Police informs about the event.
Neither the driver nor the children suffered any injuries and the breath test was negative.
The driver of the second vehicle succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
“The exact cause and circumstances of the tragic event will be determined only by the result of the ordered forensic autopsy,” the police said.
