GROBOGAN, KOMPAS.com – Angga Bagus Perwira (12), a class VII student at SMP Negeri 1 Geyer, Grobogan Regency, Central Java, died at school after allegedly being a victim of bullying by his classmates, Saturday (11/10/2025).
The quiet boy is said to have often experienced verbal and physical bullying in recent times.
The victim’s grandfather, Pujiyo, said that the medical team that handed over Angga’s body after an autopsy at Dr R Soedjati Soemodiardjo Regional Hospital, Purwodadi, revealed signs of physical violence on the head.
“There was a collision on the right and left side of the head. There was a blood clot in the brain and the skull under the back of the brain was crushed. The doctor said that’s what it was,” said Pujiyo when met at the funeral home in Ledokdawan Village, Geyer District, Sunday (12/10/2025).
He hopes that the police will immediately thoroughly investigate the alleged case bullying who killed his grandson.

“The law must be enforced as fairly as possible. So that there is a deterrent effect too,” he stressed.
Angga’s body was buried at the Muneng Hamlet Public Cemetery, Ledokdawan Village, Geyer District, Grobogan Regency, on Sunday (12/10/2025) morning at around 09.40.
Angga’s parents, Sawendra (38) and Ike Purwitasari (34), couldn’t hold back their tears when they took their eldest child to his final resting place. Ike almost fainted and had to be carried by his relatives.
Angga’s grandmother, Kustinah, who raised him since childhood, also looked devastated. He could only sit slumped in a chair at home, accompanied by neighbors who tried to calm him down.
“Istighfar… Istighfar,” said one of the neighbors while rubbing Kustinah’s chest.
“Oh Allah Le… Oh Allah Le,” cried Kustinah.
Before being buried, Angga’s body was prayed for in the prayer room near his house. Hundreds of mourners accompanied the funeral procession by walking for about one kilometer.

For your information, Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Grobogan Police, AKP Rizky Ari Budianto, said that the case of Angga’s death is still being investigated.
The Grobogan Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still examining a number of witnesses, including the victim’s school friends including teachers at SMPN 1 Geyer.
“Everything is still in the process of being examined. There are many witnesses being questioned,” said Rizky.
