The HCT reacts to the current situation with the violation of Ludovic Waeber at EHC Kloten, which resulted in Davide Fadani and Ewan Huet at the EHC Kloten. The influx of Christof von Burg gives the HCT coaching staff the opportunity to use Mathieu Croce, Christof von Burg and Nils Bächler at the HCT in the coming game-intensive weeks and also enable Bächler in myhockey League.
Christof of Burg spent his junior time at SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers as well as HC Friborg-Gottéron. From 2020 – 24 he was able to develop hockeyettan in the third highest Swedish league league before he joined EHC Winterthur for last season. Thanks to his strong season in the Sky Swiss League, he was able to impose a contract in the National League at SC Bern, where he is currently forming the goalkeeper quartet together with Adam Reideborn, Sandro Zurkirchen and Andri Henauer.
