“I have a very strong intuition preference”, says Michele Heisler, “which may drive you crazy, because I tend to be non-linear.” Heisler, an ebullient presence, knows a thing or two about personality types. Her grandmother, Isabel Briggs Myers, developed the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. “I grew up in a family that was fascinated with psychology, with understanding diversity”, she tells me. “How do we understand ourselves and others better?” was a key question, and she initially considered becoming a psychiatrist.
