The BSU women’s soccer team is on a roll after a slow start to the season.

The BSU women’s soccer team celebrated their first conference victory of the season on Friday, defeating SMSU 3-1, and continued their winning ways by hosting NSIC opponent Sioux Falls on Sunday.

The game remained scoreless until the 60th minute when Megan Ko’s corner kick was headed by maggie Kramer and then Katrina Barthelt, resulting in Barthelt’s fourth goal of the season. This proved to be the decisive moment, as Bemidji State secured a 1-0 victory over Sioux Falls.

Since their initial loss of the season, the Beavers have achieved four consecutive wins and currently hold a 2-0 record in conference play.

That was enough, as Bemidji State won 1-0 over Sioux Falls.
