Devilish Games is one of the most original studios in the field of video game development in Spain. Their walking and “understand life” simulator Bambas! and Minabo: A Walk Through Life was very successful, but now the team surprised us with another premise that was both surprising and fun: Cutout Village , a game about cutting and rebuilding a village with banknotes.
The game was inspired by many villages in rural Spain that were no longer population-free and faced the danger of disappearing forever, and the social challenges the country must face in the future to revitalize certain areas in a sustainable way. The premise of the game is to accompany two young people who moved to one of the villages, who decide to rebuild and restore their customs by building new buildings. Through stratified design, limited resources must be properly managed in order to provide residents with the necessary services and opportunities.
Cutout Village is scheduled to be released on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch in 2026, and you can watch the trailer below.
