Die Dabble Darts ANZ Premier League 2025 is a tournament in darts organized by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) for the first time. It is held in eight different cities in Australia and New Zealand over a period of eight weeks. The first matchday will take place on October 4, 2025 in the John Cain Arena in Melbourne. The winner of the play-off, which takes place on November 22, 2025 in the Nissan Arena in Brisbane, qualifies for the PDC World Darts Championship 2026.
The tournament largely uses the mode of the Premier League Darts, which is also held by the PDC, with the exception that no second half of the season is played.
Eight players take part in the Anz Premier League. These play against each other in the “everyone against everyone” league system, so that after seven game days, each participant played against everyone else. A knockout tournament is held on each of the seven evenings, which ultimately result in semi-finalists, finalists and day winners. All games are in mode best of 11 legs held.
Achieving a semi -final brings two points for the table, the final entry three points and the day’s victory five points.
The four players with the most points from the preliminary round qualify for the play-offs. In the semi -finals in the mode best of 15 legs played while for the final best of 19 legs is increased.[[1]
The field of participants is made up of seven qualifiers who qualify via regional tournament series, as well as the wildcard invited Simon Whitlock, former European champion as well as Premier League and World Cup finalist.
