The Maxiscoter of BMW It arrives in Argentina with a design inspired by the Adventure family and state -of -the -art technology
BMW Motorrad Argentina officially presented the new C 400 X, a model that marks the brand’s return to the urban mobility segment after almost five years. With a crossover cut design and top -level equipment, this maxiscot is positioned as a versatile alternative for the city and its surroundings.

The C 400 X is distinguished at first glance by its aesthetic winks to the Adventure range, with a LED front lighthouse that reinforces its adventurous character. It is driven by a 34 -horsepower monocylinder engine, accompanied by a 12.8 liter fuel tank, of which 4 correspond to the reserve.
Although the cycle part maintains the steel chassis scheme, conventional fork and double rear shockwhere adjustable in preload, the brake system protrudes by the incorporation of two front discs with radial tweezers signed by J.Juan. To this is added the combination of 15 -inch tires in front and 14 behind, which guarantees a balance between stability and agility in urban traffic.

The Rugged version, available in metallic kalamata color, adds mixed tires that provide a more sporty and adventurous image. Instead, the black option is equipped with asphalt tires.
The most prominent advance in this new edition is the incorporation of latest generation assistance systems. Now, dynamic traction control (DTC) and ABS Pro operates with inclination sensitivity, which raises safety in all types of maneuvers.
To these grants are added the control of the motor drag (MSR) and the dynamic braking control (DBC). The latter avoids the opening of the butterfly valve when it is brake and accelerates simultaneously, thus reducing the detention distance and maintaining a more stable trajectory. In abrupt braking, in addition, emergency lights are automatically activated.
Conceived as a scooter for day to day, C 400 x also takes a leap in practicality. The space under the seat increased its capacity thanks to the flexcase system, which allows you to store a comprehensive and one open helmet with the motorcycle. Those who seek even more capacity can opt for an original rear trunk of 43.5 liters, with interior lighting, USB take and useful load capacity of 10 kilos.
The connectivity is on behalf of the 6.5 -inch color TFT screen, now included as standard, which is handled by the BMW “multicontroller” classic. Without additional applications, it allows to link the phone by Bluetooth to manage calls or listen to music in the helmet. For navigation by arrow it is necessary to download the free BMW Motorrad Connected app, while those who prefer visualization on complete map can opt for an instrumentation of 10.25 inches with Wi -Fi connection.
Among the optional, the smart key system also appears, in addition to the Comfort and Touring packages, which add elements such as fists and heated seat, frontal gloveters with centralized lock, USB port and GPS preparation.
During the presentation, Gabriel Costas, Head of BMW Motorrad Argentina, highlighted the relevance of the launch: “After almost five years with the 650 in the market, today we return with this C 400 x, we are very happy. It is a robust product, which remains in the middle of what was the sport and the GT. We believe that this scooter arrives with a really competitive entry price”.
The manager also stressed the load capacity as one of the strengths of the model: “The truth that is very interesting. The flexcase allows you to save two helmets, more what can be loaded in the topcase. While it is an urban product, it even allows trips quietly.”
BMW C 400 X availability and price
The BMW C 400 X is now available on the country’s official dealership network. It is offered in Black Storm Metallic with a launch price of $ 15,500, accompanied by a three -year warranty, as with the entire range of the brand.
