Apple Watch Series 11: Blood Pressure & Life-Saving Alerts

Small but meaningful updates have long been Apple’s mantra when it comes to smart watches – and 2025 is no exception. Instead of a radical overhaul, the new Apple Watch Series 11 focuses on being the most rounded and complete version so far, especially for health conscious and active users.

The main function is blood pressure alerts, which can warn users of potentially high blood pressure. Apple estimates that over a million people can receive an early warning during the first year, which can potentially save lives and further cement the clock as a serious health tool. Series 11 also comes with a more scratch -resistant screen, 5G support, new dials and – after being limited to 18 hours for years – an improved battery life of 24 hours. This brings the closer endurance of Apple Watch Ultra.

For those who sleep clockwise, Apple also introduces Sleep Scores, a feature that has long been available in third -party apps, but is now fully integrated into Apple’s own ecosystem. The Apple Watch Series 11 launches September 19, with prices from 399 USD.

Together with Series 11, Apple also unveiled the new Watch Ultra 3. Although it looks almost identical as its predecessor, there are small changes that make a difference. The screen is slightly larger with thinner frames, making it feel more modern without increasing the size of the cabinet.

Ultra 3 also gets 5G connection, and the most welcome upgrade comes in the form of battery life. Where the previous model officially lasted 36 hours, Ultra 3 now extends to 42 hours – over two full days of regular use. This makes it even more reliable as a smart watch both everyday and on adventure.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 also comes in stores on September 19, at a price of $ 799. With these improvements, it seems to strengthen its position as Apple’s most exclusive and durable smart watch so far.
