The Chihuahua Ministry of Health indicated that, Until Friday, August 29, there is a report of four thousand 023 people confirmed with measles and three thousand 906 people recovered from the disease, as well as 12 hospitalized patients.
The state agency reported the death of two people due to complications derived from the condition. The first case is a 19 -year -old woman from the Rarámuri ethnicity, originally from Guadalupe and Calvo, who worked as an agricultural daystock in the municipality of Camargo. The death was recorded on August 25 in the city of Chihuahua.
The second death was recorded on August 27 and corresponds to a minor of 1 year old, belonging to the Rarámuri ethnic group, originally from Guadalupe and Calvo. The death took place in the city of Chihuahua, due to complicated measles pneumonia.
Both cases did not have vaccines, so the person in charge of the Undersecretariat for Health Prevention and Promotion, Irma Leticia Ruiz González, made a called to the population to apply the biological ones that protect them from the virus and thus break the transmission chains.
