DJ Mustard Plays Surprise Set at Los Angeles Kickback Event

The inaugural Kickback event in Los angeles was made even more special with an unannounced performance by DJ Mustard.

Over the weekend, the first of the Kickback event series was held in Los Angeles, featuring a surprise performance by DJ Mustard. The event, which also included cannabis products, food, and merchandise, marked the launch of the new series.
According to DJ Mustard, “Los Angeles is home, and it’s where everything started for me. Kickback is about community and culture, so it felt right to surprise everybody with a set and show love to the city that raised me.”
SVP, Markets & Culture, jonathan JJ Jones, stated, “At , we’ve always believed in the power of bringing people together. The kickback series is about strengthening relationships between brands, artists, and the community, while showcasing the culture that continues to move cannabis forward.”
The event, held at Love Hour LA, was open to those 21 and older who RSVP’d and ran from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Attendees enjoyed a live mural, limited-edition merchandise from The Seventh Letter, a Dab Bar with product sampling, and DJ sets.
Kickback Heads to New York City
“Los Angeles is home, and it’s where everything started for me…show love to the city that raised me,” said DJ Mustard.
The next Kickback event is scheduled for September 11th in New York City. Details regarding the location and RSVP process are yet to be announced.
