Frequent success for the 39th Golf Construction Albert tournament. Completely displaying with 260 participants gathered on Saturday (August 16) at the Les Saules club, the activity raised $ 70,000, redistributed equally between seven organizations in the region.

This amount largely surpasses last year’s harvest, which amounted to $ 48,000.

The funds will support the activities of the resourcefulness, the Rimouski minor hockey association, the Bas-Saint-Laurent suicide and crisis intervention center, the Rimouski Foundation Club, the Martin d’Astous Foundation and the Cancer Association in eastern Quebec.

In 2025, the Paul-Hubert school foundation will be added to the list of beneficiary organizations.

Festive and friendly atmosphere

Under the responsibility of Mélissa Pelletier and Louis-Vincent Albert, the organizing committee had prepared a day at the height of expectations, with two departures, at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., played under the Mulligan formula with five players, all in a festive and friendly atmosphere.

In all, 62 presence prices whose value totaled $ 28,000 was given during the evening.

For almost four decades, the Albert Construction Golf Tournament has established itself as an unmissable event in Rimouski, combining sport, pleasure and solidarity.
