Ensenada, Baja California. – With the objective of strengthening the preparation of its elements, the State Attorney General’s Office gave the “Tactical Medicine for Forces of Order” course, aimed at officers of the State Investigation Agency (AEI). The training was organized by the State Institute for Interdisciplinary Research and Training, with the participation of the Black Medic Tactical Training company.
This initiative responds to the commitment of the State Attorney General, Dr. Ma. Elena Andrade Ramírez, for promoting continuous training as a basis for professional and effective performance in the operating field.
The course was carried out from June 9 to 13 in the municipality of Ensenada, and focused on tactical medicine: a branch of emergency medicine aimed at providing immediate attention to injured agents during armed clashes, high -risk operations or situations where traditional medical aid can be delayed.
During 20 hours of intensive practice, participants acquired critical skills such as the control of massive hemorrhages, handling of thoracic and extremities lesions, application of tourniquetes, use of thoracic stamps, vehicular extractions in various scenarios and maneuvers of tactical response to threats.
The State Attorney General’s Office reiterates its commitment to strengthening their corporations, providing their tools agents that allow them to respond with preparation and security for the benefit of citizenship and operational personnel themselves.
