During cross-examination on Tuesday, Sean “Diddy” Combs’s former girlfriend, identified as “Jane,” testified that she engaged in sexual acts with male sex workers at the request of the music mogul. She stated that she did so because it made her feel loved by him, but now expresses regret over what she now recognizes as a “cuckold” lifestyle.

“Jane” is a pseudonym used to protect the woman’s identity during Combs’s sex-trafficking trial. She testified that their three-year relationship continued until September, when the Bad Boy Records founder was arrested at a New York hotel where she was planning to meet him.

Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, which carry a potential sentence of 15 years to life in prison. He remains jailed without bail.

Prosecutors claim that Combs used violence, threats, and a network of employees to control and abuse women for two decades. His legal team argued in federal court in Manhattan that while there was domestic violence in his relationships, all sexual activity was consensual.

Earlier in the trial, R&B singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura testified over four days, alleging physical abuse by Combs and her participation in hundreds of “freak off” sexual performances during their nearly 11-year relationship, which ended in 2018.

Cross-Examination and Regrets

teny Geragos, Combs’s lawyer, cross-examined Jane, focusing on the drug-fueled sexual encounters orchestrated by Combs. Geragos reminded her of earlier testimony where she expressed regrets, leading to further discussion of these events.

“I resent him for leading me into the lifestyle he led me to,” jane said. “I resented the way he went about introducing me to this lifestyle.”

She admitted to agreeing to these “hotel nights” while “under a lot of emotional pressure” and already emotionally dependent on Combs, desiring to maintain their relationship.

Jane testified that she began therapy approximately three months prior to her testimony. She had previously met with Combs’s defense lawyers but ended those meetings in April, shortly before the trial commenced.

She expressed difficulty in understanding why she continued to participate in these “hotel nights,” even though she only desired sexual relations with Combs. However, she noted that the reasons were “becoming more and more clear” as she continued with her therapy.

Revelation of “Cuckold” Lifestyle

Initially, Jane considered these secret sexual encounters with Combs as “something very special.” She stated she didn’t want to judge him and “really wanted to just go along with these things as if I can be my partner’s escapes than I would be.”

In 2022, Jane researched sexual variations and encountered the terms “cuck” and “cuckold,” which she felt described her lifestyle. She explained that a “cuck” is a man who derives pleasure from seeing “his woman receive pleasure” from another man.

Jane had previously testified about instances where Combs acted violently towards a woman to fulfill his sexual desires.

Cassie filed a lawsuit against Combs in November 2023, alleging sexual abuse. The lawsuit was settled within hours for $20 million, which triggered the criminal investigation into Combs.
